Your support helps us to reach more students across Australia.

We are grateful for the support given by the Anglican Board of Mission and the National Council of Churches who made this project possible. Support is required to ensure this site fulfils its purpose to empower teachers to teach.

By joining our community, we invite teachers to collaborate and share what they have been doing, what they have found helpful and suggestions to improve the engagement with both the subject and students.

  • Make a donation.

The creation and sustaining of this website, its resources, and work in the community requires funding. By making a donation to use our resources, you are invited to play an important part in contributing to this program and its ongoing growth. You can adjust the amount accordingly in the link below, starting from $5.00AUD.

  • Share our story.

As a member of the media & press, we welcome your support - either in writing news articles, blog posts, or interviews will help support awareness of Australian Indigenous history.

In-School Trainings.

In-school training is designed to introduce the resources and to explore context specific ways of implementing Empower To Teach in schools. Its purpose is to explore and expand the framework for teachers to enact in their own particular context.

Empower To Teach offers tailored in school training programs to equip teachers to maximise the benefits of the program. These can be year level or whole of school training packages and normally would be delivered in half-day sessions.

Alternatively Empower To Teach is able to provide on-line interactive training via Zoom. These will be tailored to school and teacher needs.

The program would be delivered by Glenn Loughrey, the initiator of Empower to Teach.
